Popular with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee crowd and young professionals on the East Side of the city, Oakland Trattoria can fill up on weekend nights, but the place is large and they manage a full capacity very well. The overall feel of the trattoria is cozy, as though it's a well-known small town establishment instead of an urban pizza destination.
The first American pizzeria was opened in New York in 1905 by Gennaro Lombardi. This restaurant, Lombardi's, is still in operation today. The pizza is baked in a coal burning oven with the same recipe Gennaro Lombardi brought from Naples in 1897.
On a flavor scale of one through ten I would assign theDiGiorno For One - Traditional Crust Pepperoni Pizza DiGiorno For One - Traditional Crust Pepperoni Pizza a rating of nine.
