When I first heard that we got an internship, I was unsure what you should expect from this. I knew that although I'm a normal user of social support systems like Facebook and Youtube, this is a completely different aspect in their mind along with a completely experience. A wonderful learning experience definitely. I had been thrilled.
I had been right. In mere the very first week, I discovered "landing pages" on Facebook, the different social media monitoring systems like "TweetDeck" and "HootSuite", the reach of the several internet sites and that i am now writing my own , personal blog!
Like a layman we have been acutely aware of the number of people use social network sites, however, when one gets to the details, being a social networking intern, the figures and statistics are astounding. My first reaction to the figures presented if you ask me via various social networking videos was "OMG! There are plenty of people using social networking on a daily basis". The figures were unbelievable. People use Social media marketing to fulfill new people, interact with friends, and share their thoughts via words, photos or videos. Businesses use it to market their brands, products or services, and recruit new employees.
Like a Social media marketing intern, you should know that it's all about NOW! The ‘Speed of Now' can be a key factor in becoming successful at Social networking. Through the years, we have pointed out that the entire world and businesses do not stop and that we are able to keep on top of it by using the Internet and social media networks. The supply of social networking networks on cell phones, iPads and the various tablets makes it simple for your social networking consultants to keep their client's portfolios up to date.
In the past week, I have also found that to become a prosperous social media consultant, you need to understand your client's needs. The consultant has to understand, what are the objectives of their client’s business are. Could it be to boost knowing of their brands, develop a better knowledge of their client behavior or better support? The consultant then must understand the audience, (i.e. the shoppers with the client). Are the customers already on the client's Facebook Fan Page or followers of these Twitter page? Otherwise, the consultant would need to find a method to have the customers join the fan page on Facebook or follow the client on Twitter. The next step would be to find a method to make absolutely free themes return each time towards the fan page or perhaps the Twitter feeds.
Conclusively, I'd like to repeat, this continues to be an exceptionally exciting and interesting week personally being an intern. In a week, I'd like to consider I have learned a lot, that can definitely let me better understand Social networking and also fare better like a Social networking consultant.
